The book ‘Women Artists in the Basque Country’, which forms part of the KulturBox project, presents the life and work of ten women who worked in the Basque Country from the 19th century to the present day. In addition, each of their figures is associated with one of the aspects that have conditioned the integration of women in Art on an equal footing with men. In this way, current issues are raised that allow us to reflect on the role that women have played in the History of Art and the process of invisibilisation to which they have been subjected.
