Bitamine 15th Anniversary Poster

A special edition created to celebrate fifteen years of Bitamine’s journey.

The piece is built around a quotation by the art historian Piotr Piotrowski:

“From the margins, it is above all the imperfections of the centre that become visible.”

Rather than understanding the poster as a mere promotional medium, this edition forms part of an ongoing research into the poster as an artistic, political and editorial device. It reflects on margins, borders, self-management and the ways cultural practices can build communities.

Designed by Estudio OPUESTO® in dialogue with Bitamine, the poster is presented in two language versions — Spanish and Basque — conceived as autonomous works.

Fifteen years later, the margin remains a place from which to imagine other ways of being together.
