The book ‘Palaeolithic Art’, which forms part of the KulturBox project, presents the when, how and why of the emergence of humanity’s most ancient art. In an informative way, it explains the most unique aspects of cave art, inside the caves, and the movable art that was carried out on everyday objects. Although the most important sanctuaries are mentioned, such as Altamira and Lascaux, special attention is paid to the caves of Ekain and Altxerri in Gipuzkoa.
